So far I have climbed two spires at cathedrals in York and Coventry. They were both quite high and quite narrow. The view from both towers was amazing, and not so special at the same time. I was basically a very high point where you could see for
a while. The wind at the top of both towers was unbearable at points. The climb down was the hardest part. your legs are already tired from the climb up and then you think going down is easier. NOT! its so narrow and steep it hurts your legs more and you have to go slower so you don't fall over.
